'SOUL IN THE HILLS'
My soul is in these hills
they are still
can you hear the silence
except perhaps for birds
except perhaps for trees
except perhaps for the grass
that whips in the breeze
My soul is in these hills
you will always find me there
when you stop your car and stare
you can call me
in the figment of your mind
my soul my heart my imprint
lays here for eternity
My soul is in these hills
your tears are my rain
they water the plains
they are not in vain
dont cry
I fly with the wind
I sit with the clouds
I am watching you
I am very proud
that you care
that you see me there
that you see my soul
in these hills.

'CONTEMPLATION'
Is this it?
Im just not certain
did I really mean
its the final curtain?
sitting here
when all is said and done
thinking about my battles
the ones I lost - and won
is it the end
Or has it all just begun?
I cant seem to think
my heads in a muddle
Im feeling free
but Im also troubled
theres a world out there
in technicolour
that earth that fills my heart
that breeze is waitng to carry me
is it time - shall I depart?
here in my Kingdom
these last thoughts
of contemplation
a desire to sit still
a desire not to move
but to just be
I think of everything
I think of nothing
I am a memory
even to me

THE 'GIVING' TREE
Here lies my memory
of giving
Here lies my memory
of living
Here lies my true
contribution of love
Here are the branches
where I sat above
writing for you
from my heart
writing with love
words that will last
Echoes of the children play
sounds that will never go away
Here I live forever
and can never die
See the joy on girls and boys
See the freedom they employ
See the happiness they gained
all within this place obtained
and they too
will remember forever.
Neverland will always be
Peter Pans charity
to love, to care, to share
to heal,
to give, to live, to cure,
and appeal to the world
that giving
is like a living tree
the branches grow
for you and me
let those branches
reach the sky
for Peter Pan
will never die.
